Li Na is an Associate Research Fellow and Master's Supervisor at the School of Economics and Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Research Center on Virtual Economy and Data Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research focuses on energy-environmental economics, regional economics, and climate policy. By constructing and expanding a multi-regional energy-environment-economy CGE model with Chinese characteristics, she integrates energy-environmental technologies and various segmented policy measures with traditional CGE models to study scientific issues related to energy, environment, and regional development in China. She has led two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, as well as multiple international collaborations and other projects. Her research findings have been published in over 40 high-level academic journals, including Energy Policy, Resources, Conservation and Recycling, Chinese Journal of Management Science, Systems Engineering — Theory & Practice, and Acta Geographica Sinica. She has contributed to several research monographs, such as Policy Options for Low-Carbon Development and Regional Responses and The Trajectory of China’s Green Economic Transformation, as well as research reports including Toward a New Resource Economy: Promoting Harmonious Transition of Chinese Cities — Accenture-CAS New Resource Economy City Index Report and Policy Assessment Report on Air Pollution Control in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region. Policy recommendations she participated in drafting have received instructions from national leaders. She also serves as a member of the Spatial Analysis Professional Committee of the Chinese Regional Science Association, the Resource Economics Research Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Natural Resources, and the New Power System Professional Committee of the China Energy Research Society.
