10th China-US Venture Capital Summit Successfully Held

Omaha, Nebraska, U.S. – May 2, 2025 – On May 2, 2025, on the eve of the 2025 Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting, the 10th China-US Venture Capital Summit was successfully held in Omaha, Nebraska, the United States.

With the theme "Investing in the Future: China-US Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital in the Era of Generative AI", this year’s summit brought together participants to discuss hot topics such as global investment opportunities, innovation and entrepreneurship, and generative artificial intelligence trends. It aimed to facilitate deeper exchanges and cooperation between the Chinese and American investment communities.

Nearly 200 investors, entrepreneurs, experts and scholars from China, the United States, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries attended the event.

In the opening speech, Professor Yong Shi —Founder of the Omaha Value Investing Education and Research Center and the China-US Venture Capital Summit, Counselor of the State Council, Member of the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World, reviewed the decade-long journey of the summit.

Mr. Steve Ciesinski (a well-known angel investor, former President of the Stanford Research Institute, and Lecturer in Management at the Stanford Graduate School of Business), Mr. Di Sun (the pioneering promoter of Buffett's ideas in China and Emeritus Professor of Business at California State University, Long Beach), Mr. Kaifeng Chen  (Chief Economist of Huisheng Finance), and Mr. Yunfeng Zang  (Co-founder and CTO of Youfu Network Co., Ltd. and CEO of Run Sun Cloud) delivered keynote speeches.

During the roundtable discussion, Mr. Guoqing Lv  (Senior Professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha), Mr. Haidong Pan (former Founder of Hudong Wiki), Mr. Yulai Weng (Founder of LYF Innovation), Dr. Xi Chen (Professor at New York University), and Mr. Ming Liu (President of the Qingdao Chamber of Commerce in the US) conducted in-depth discussions on the theme of "Generative AI (GenAI) and Entrepreneurial Ecosystem", exploring how GenAI reshapes entrepreneurial logic and industrial patterns.

Dr. Xiaoming Yang (Associate Professor of Business at the University of Nebraska at Omaha), Ms. Shuai Xiang (a renowned financial expert), Dr. Jimmy Wang (Chairman of the Asian American Entrepreneurs Association and Founder & CEO of American Health Group (AHG)), Ms. Irene Shen (Founder & CEO of CLI Investment Management), Mr. Hank Han (Founder & CEO of Golden Route Group), and Mr. Zhijian Rong (Director of Dehong Education) held in-depth exchanges around the theme of "New Opportunities for China-US Investment and Business Cooperation".
